GIS Geo Database specialist/consultant to work on supporting our GIS system.
Complete Description:
Minimum requirements: Education or equivalent experience: BS Degree with emphasis in GIS, CIS, OMS, Engineeering or related field. Recent development experience in GIS.
Additional experience preferred: ESRI GIS databases (ArcSDE, ArcGIS, ArcIMS, Arc Server). RDBMS, Oracle, UNIX (Sun & AIX), electric distribution and transmission systems, specifically Telvent Miner & Miner ArcFM, GIS software & mapping, technical integration.
In addition, experience in any or all of the following is preferred: Up Front Job Design, Partial Posting, Outage Management Systems (specifically ABB OMS Systems), Data capture (specifically LIDAR), Data testing/QA/QC techniques, Schema design. Electric distribution and/or Transmission business experience a benefit.
Behavior Characteristics:
