Contract Position: 12 months with a possible renewal of 6 months

Role GIS Data Consolidation Manager
Qualifications:
The GIS Data Consolidation Manager will have extensive demonstrated knowledge and experience with Electrical Distribution GIS data migration and conversion in an electric utility environment. Such experience should include multiple project and multiple stakeholder environments. The position requires in-depth knowledge of utility business processes, GIS data conversion tools, industry standards and practices to provide our deliverables.
In depth experience with spatial systems and data architecture, GIS data modeling, application architecture, data migration and conversion
Detailed knowledge of electric utility standards and best practices
Detailed knowledge of Electrical Distribution Power Systems
Detailed knowledge of ArcFM, ArcFM Designer and the ESRI suite of applications
Demonstrated experience in GIS business analysis, information architecture and information management
Excellent understanding of GIS and related electric utility business processes and how GIS can enable these processes
Ability to co-ordinate with stakeholders to create consensus (or buy-in where consensus cannot be reached) on requirements translating into business applications
Knowledge of electrical application solutions an asset, including outage and restoration management, smart metering, smart grid and mobile work management applications which include spatial data elements
Knowledge of electrical asset life cycle business process and management of spatial data with focus on distribution
Experience in training/product delivery to staff in a training environment
Business Process Development skills
Project Management skills
