The successful applicant will be able to substantiate his/her background and success and how it is directly related to the responsibilities listed below. The Technical Sales Support Specialist duties will include, but not be limited to:
Technical Sales Support
• Developing and presenting technical demonstrations that position Osmose products & services to solve customer needs and show value.
• Provide assistance in the development of technical RFP responses and solution architecture for specific customer projects.
Strategic Sales & Marketing
• Represent Osmose in the industry. Promote Osmose through speaking engagements at industry events and tradeshows.
• Interface with Product Management & Delivery Solutions to provide market feedback and suggest product improvements.
• Assist with the development of Sales & Marketing content (sell sheets, presentations, company website) in support of Osmose products and services.
Business Information and Improvement
• Provide ongoing training to Directors-Sales to rollout new or enhanced services, technologies or to communicate news on competition or industry trends.
• Identify, position and assist with execution of new/emerging services that support our Strategic Plan.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2-4 years experience in Sales Engineering or Technical Sales position.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or GIS Technology a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. AM/FM/GIS experience a distinct advantage.
• Willingness to work varied hours and travel whenever necessary to achieve the desired results.
