Description
Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the application of GIS solutions with knowledge of telecommunication and/or wireless industries.
Must be organized, adaptable and dependable; have the aptitude and ability to work in a fast paced, highly technical environment with frequently changing systems and processes.
Requires a high knowledge of business practices, computer systems, GIS/GPS technologies, and specialized GIS data and system applications.
Develops, organizes and maintains GIS databases and projects.
Establishes and maintains GIS accuracy and mapping standards.
Provides GIS/GPS training and data access to supervisors, managers, associates and field crews.
Interfaces with GIS users, or potential users, in other departments to promote GIS compatibility and continuity.
An undergraduate degree is required in computer science, geographic information systems or related field, master's degree in GIS is preferred.

4+ years experience with MapInfo application, SDK's and MapBasic
4+ years experience in developing, deploying and administering applications using JAVA or .Net
3+ years experience working with Oracle Spatial or similar spatial database
3+ years experience developing web-based GIS applications
2-4 years experience in writing PL/SQL to optimize spatial geo functions
2+ years experience in the Telecom Wireless industry, developing GIS applications
Ability to perform some analyst-level tasks, such as mapping, analysis and data tasks
Works well in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
