| | | | Job Description | | This position is the Geographic Information Science (GIS) Specialist for the Minnesota Department of Revenue. Responsibilities include geocoding data, performing advanced GIS production tasks, completing complex data processing assignments, and other computer and database work. This position is responsible for making quarterly updates to Streamlined Sales Tax rate and boundary files, computer mapping, geocoding tax and other files for policy analysis purposes, and resource analysis for the agency and its clients. It is also responsible for conducting technical analyses and creating programs and databases for tax research purposes. | | | | | Job Requirements | Applicants must possess a Bachelor's Degree and at least three (3) years of experience conducting GIS projects and related geographic analysis,
