| | | | Job Description | | Frederick, MD geospatial mapping company is in search of an ArcGIS Programmer who will implement requirements and algorithms using ArcGIS, JAVA, and C++/C# .NET based code on MS Windows, as well as use script coding in a UNIX-based environment for our exclusive radar mapping product. In addition, the incumbent will develop code and perform software code de-bugging and validation. | | | | | Job Requirements | A successful candidate must be a US citizen or a green card holder, hold a BS in computer science or engineering, have 3-5 years geospatial/SAR industry experience, and have 2+ years experience in some or all of the following: software development on Windows platforms with ArcGIS, database development using ORACLE and SQL, and must be fluent in C/C++, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Fortran, MDL, Avenue, HTML, and/or Java.
Knowledge and 3+ years in the following is not required, but preferred: SAR and IFSAR processing, digital mapping using CAD and GIS software packages, and experience with UNIX OS.
