VESTRA is seeking candidates for .Net Developer / Programmer. Duties include developing both windows and web applications for various clients. GIS development experience using ESRI’s suite of products is highly preferred.

| | | | | Job Requirements | Ideal candidates must possess:
• B.A./B.S. in Computer Science or Business
• A minimum of five years of applicable industry experience; consulting field experience would be ideal
•Any combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered.
Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience:
• .Net development experience using VS 2005 and VS 2008
• Proficiency in VB.Net, C#.Net, ASP.Net, and Silverlight
• Proficiency in developing windows and web applications and services
• Familiarity and experience with ESRI ArcGIS Server, Desktop products, and development environments is a big plus
• Experience analyzing needs, developing project design and scope, and project management
• Knowledge of the SDLC
• Proficient with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server and Oracle)
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written), a desire to interact with a team, clients, and agency staff; great all-around people skills
• Good organizational skills, ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure, challenging work environment,
• Excellent at problem solving, and ability to think outside of the box; genuinely excited and enthusiastic about learning and pushing technical limits and finding new solutions
