| | | | Job Description | We have an IMMEDIATE opening in Jodhpur
(Rajasthan ) India for the position of PROJECT
BASED Junior GIS ANALYST for - UTILITY
SECTOR.
Details are as follows:
- Should be WILLING TO WORK ANYWHERE
IN INDIA
- Degree / Diploma or I.T.I. in Electrical and
Electronics Engineering
- Well-conversant with the satellite data
interpretation digitally and GIS softwares like
ArcGIS, ERDAS or any other OGL software
- Experience of GIS Based Consumer
Indexing, Feeder Mapping with DGPS and
Asset Codification

SUBMISSION: JULY 04, 2009 | | | | | Job Requirements | The scope of job work include:
i. Carrying out of field survey for consumers
and assets;
ii. GIS mapping, indexing and codification of
consumers and all the assets.
iii. Establishing GPS coordinates differential
GPS coordinate survey and necessary master
stations during the survey work.
iv. Preparation of digital electrical network from
Sub-Station to Distribution Transformer
v. Develop indexing for the electrical feeders,
feeder branches up to Distribution
transformers, L.T. lines, Switches, Service
lines, Consumers etc,. shall be uniquely
indexed with defined relationships based on
the normal mode of feeding envisaged. All data
of line, meters etc, to be used for network
analysis and calculation of losses.
