| | | | Job Description | The Level III Web Developer is a position requiring from 10+ years of demonstrated experience developing applications using Microsoft IIS, C#, VB.NET, web services (ASMX-based), XML and GIS. They develop, maintain, test, and debug web applications using site specified products, languages and tools to provide a sustainable business application. In addition, the Level III web developer is expected to have an understanding of SOA and Web Services.
The Developer must possess the skills required to perform the work assigned (i.e., the “know-how” when reporting to work). | | | | | Job Requirements | Knowledge of and skill in applying
• Current releases of C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, Web Services and MS SQL Server
• Windows Forms development experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft IIS.
• MS SQL Server Database analysis and design skills.
• Communication skills including technical documentation
• Working knowledge of GIS systems such as ESRI ArcGIS and Google Earth
Sufficient to:
• Develop and maintain web-based and desktop applications from “user needs” in an Internet enabled and Intranet application environment
• Develop and maintain application web services
• Distinguish key interactions and dependencies among enterprise applications solutions
• Communicate with a wide variety of technical and business experts in both individual and group settings.
• Enhance and fix bugs in existing business applications
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of and skill in applying
• Experience with data exchanges in a SQL environment
• Experience with MVC/MVP
• Experience with ClickOnce deployment methods
• SQL Reporting Services
• User interface design and Usability including accessibility (Section 508)
• Nant scripting
• Experience with Agile / Scrum teams
• Experience with all phases of Systems Development Life Cycle including maintenance
• Knowledge of fish and wildlife program management
