| | | | Job Description | We have an IMMEDIATE opening in Jodhpur (Rajasthan ) India for the position of PROJECT SCIENTIST (PHOTOGRAMMETRY).

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the purely Project-based “Project Scientist” positions having aptitude to work in the most challenging and exciting field of space technology applications in thematic mapping and modelling.
Job Description
Key Skills: Orhto Projects, 3D Digitization, Planimetric maps
Suitable candidates with at least 6 months experience in any Photogrammetry Projects (Orhto Projects, Rectification, Seamless Mosaicing, Classification & Editing, 3D Digitization, Planimetric maps, Digital Elevation Model (DEM) and Digital Terrain Model (DTM)) experience.
Skills: Must be able to define the end user requirements and translate them to the development team.
Must be aware of recent trends in this space.
Professional Area: Photogrammetry | | | | | Job Requirements | PERSONS WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD OF PHOTOGRAMMETRY NEED NOT APPLY.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1) Only short listed candidates will be called for interview.
2) Maximum age limit for the above positions is 30 years as on 30.06.2010.
3) Selected candidates will be posted at Jodhpur and are liable to be transferred to any Project site situated any where in India as and when required.
4) Mere fulfillment of the requirements of the post will not entail a candidate to be called for interview.
5) IEMSD reserves the right not to fill up any or all the advertised positions, if it so decides.

JOB REQUIREMENT
-- Master's or doctoral degree in Geography/ Geology/ Urban Planning/ Geoinformatics/ Water Resources / Photogrammetry / Remote Sensing/GIS.
-- One - two years of related experience.
-- Proficiency in photogrammetry/ digitization & image processing and Modelling.
-- 2D & 3D applications (softwares: ArcGIS, ERDAS, AutoCAD Map, CAD GIS etc) is essential.
-- Knowledge of OrthoPhoto/ INPHO and Adobe Photoshop essential
– Strong Exp in Photogrammetry, Image Processing
-- Photogrammetry Knowledge in KLT ATLAS,Virtuozo, SSK,Soccet Set, LPS, VA Mapper with GIS Background
-- Impart training to clients.
-- Practical Experience and knowledge of Geomatica, ArcGIS, ERDAS, MapInfo & ENVI (latest Version) a MUST.
-- Ability to handle multiple tasks, learn graphic software and complete work efficiently.
-- Able to provide solutions for decision making.
-- WRITE PROJECT PROPOSALS for/to various funding agencies
-- Must have detailed eye for graphic production.
-- Excellent communication skills.
