| | | | Job Description | The Lead Security Engineer provides technical security support to ensure the overall security goals of the corporation ensuring regulatory compliance and the safeguarding of the corporation’s reputation by ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate and personally sensitive information.
DUTIES:
Provide operational hands-on support to one or more security tools.
Help to define overall IT Security strategy, roadmap, standards, processes and procedures.
Review of cyber intelligence and threat alerts from outside sources to analyze potential risk to our computing environment and issue internal alerts and patching advisories.
Design and implement security solutions and controls to pass compliance audits (e.g. SOX, SAS 70, ISO 27002, PCI, HIPAA).
Work with Intellitactics SIEM to ensure network activity is input and events are reconciled. Monitor and maintain SIEM for security events. Produce reports.
Liaise with enterprise risk assessment team and enterprise design and architecture teams to analyze existing systems, applications and architectures for security risks and vulnerabilities.
Provide security consulting services to projects and other teams.
Perform Incident response activities and forensic analysis of security breaches.
CISSP or SANS GIAC security certifications preferred.
Experience with TCP/IP, UNIX, IDS/IPS, Dragon, Symantec End Point Protection, Intellitactics, Imperva, nCircle, Passlogix, incident response processes and security log analysis.
Strong understanding of Windows, UNIX, networking, telephony, data base, web application, and wireless security.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience, 7 years minimum; 12 years preferred.
