The GIS Analyst candidate will be responsible for working closely with linguists in the extraction and quality control of data from cartography sources and imagery. They will be using primarily ArcGIS and Geonames database - GNDB.
This position does not involve GIS editing or topology.

| Job Requirements | Requirements:
1) BS in Geography, environmental science or GIS
2) 1-5 years of GIS experience
3) Must be proficient with ArchGIS and understand excel
4) Must be able to obtain a secret level clearance
5) Must understand placements on imagery
6) Must have strong QC (quality control) attributes
7) Must be detailed oriented
8) Experience with geonames/ GNDB a huge plus | |
