SpecTIR Analytical Solutions (SAS) is seeking highly motivated individuals with varying degrees of GIS and/or imagery skills and a current TS/SCI clearance to work on a unique and rapidly evolving multi-source projects supporting DoD and Intelligence Community activities. Candidates should exhibit strong skills that would correspond to positions such as geospatial analysts, imagery analysts or imagery scientists.
Successful candidates will be encouraged to recommend and implement alternative processing and analytical techniques that have been garnered from a combination of previous experiences and innovative thinking.
SAS is the advanced analytical, modeling and developmental division of SpecTIR, LLC for government contracts. SpecTIR, LLC is a leading hyperspectral imaging and analysis services company with offices in Reno, NV, Easton, MD and Fairfax, VA.

• Acquiring and conditioning high dimensional image and other datasets from commercial and DoD sources
• Preparation, analysis and dissemination of intelligence products using GIS and geospatial/advanced geospatial techniques
• Modeling and simulation using geospatial-based datasets
• Geospatial problem solving with a focus on specific intelligence problem sets
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Current DoD TS/SCI clearance
• BS in technical field
• Proficient in use of standard GIS/geospatial software tools (e.g. ArcGIS, including Spatial and 3-D Analyst; ERDAS Imagine; SOCET GXP; Proton, etc.)
• Demonstrated familiarity with image data sources and sensors
• Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in algorithm development and/or programming associated with image science activities
• Operational DoD and/or Intelligence Community experience | | |
