QUALITY ASSURANCE TEST ENGINEER III
Responsibilities include:
**Prepares test outlines, plans and procedures.
**Runs tests on new and existing hardware systems.
**Performs tests of new software developments as directed.
**Loads, runs, and tests software programs to verify accurate performance.
**Develops and distributes status reports as required.
**Creates final engineering report to summarize the purpose, equipment setup and test results.
**Recommends process improvements.
| | | | | Job Requirements | **Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
**Proven ability to follow and apply standard software and/or electrical engineering procedures on advanced design tasks.
**Six to nine years of work experience testing hardware and software programs. Experience with Silk Test and Silk scripting is required.
**Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical specification documents, complex software and/or electrical systems, and write clear technical documentation.
**Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
**Computer literate with Windows or UNIX operating systems.
**Has advanced experience with automation testing tools.
**Good organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
**Ability to organize and schedule work phases. May work independently or as a member of a project team. | |
