| Job Description | GIS TECH
Volt Technical Resources is currently recruiting six GIS Techs for an approximate 6 month contract in the Tampa, FL area. These positions are with an S&P 500 company doing work in the Southeast US and abroad.
These roles are ideal for GIS professionals that have GIS data entry skills. The GIS Techs will be working on a project to help with cleaning up the data that has been migrated from old systems into a new GIS (G/Technology).

| Job Requirements | Applicants must have familiarity with GIS software.
It is preferred that they have experience with Intergraph’s G/Technology.
Experience with tools like ArcInfo is also acceptable
It is also highly desirable that they have experience with how electric or other utility systems are modeled within a GIS.
Other experience with electric utility mapping or drafting is also desirable.
