| | | | Job Description | Enterprise Information Solutions, Inc. a consulting and software development firm, specializing in Geographic Information Systems, Internet-based GIS implementations and IT Solutions is expanding its technical staff to meet the needs of its growing customer base. The following positions are now available in its Columbia, Maryland Headquarters:
Field Data Technicians
Duties include performing field GIS data collection tasks using GPS, mobile computing devices, computer system and other surveying equipment. Responsibilities include: Analyze, plan, and perform field tasks; compile databases using raw field data; produce reports and datasets; operate field data collection vehicle; perform QA/QC to ensure data quality; operate, maintain, and diagnose computer systems and field equipment; report and repair system problems with support team; provide training to team members and clients. A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cartography, Geography, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
General Experience: Must have at lest (1) years experience with GIS applications and GPS.
Specialized Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in survey or field related projects. Must have valid drivers license. Candidate must be willing to travel.
