TRAFFIC ANALYST
$51,689 - $74,690/annually DOQ

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to perform traffic analysis for the Police Department and other authorized agencies. This includes providing police personnel with traffic analysis for personnel allocation, targeted enforcement, traffic mitigation, while performing a variety of tasks relative to statistical research and analysis.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Criminal Justice, Business/Public Administration, Sociology or closely related field, plus a minimum of two years of statistical and analytical experience including one year of progressively responsible experience working with geographic information systems (GIS). Equivalency: Six years of statistical and analytical experience including one year of progressively responsible experience working with geographic information systems (GIS) may be substituted for the education and experience above. NCIC Certification is required within one year of hire/reclassification.
