General Position Summary:
GIS and Software Developer with 5+ year’s professional experience will report to Manager of Software Development
Major Responsibilities & Tasks / Accountabilities:
1. Map conversion
2. Software Design utilizing ArcGIS Engine/Server
3. Software Development and Test
4. Support of Integration & Test Team
This is a 6 month contract. | | | | | Job Requirements | • Very strong knowledge and experience with ESRI Products, such as ArcGIS Server, Geospatial Databases, editing and conversion of GIS data (Maps) using ESRI’s Map Editor, Required.
• Strong knowledge in Visual C++ and C# under Windows.
o MS Visual Studio 2003 and 2005 required;
o MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes) and STL (Standard Template Library) a major plus.
o .NET 1.1, WinForms, Microsoft Visual C++, MFC, required.
• Very strong technical background
• Proficient in object-oriented design, data analysis and system architecture and the associated documentation
• Excellent Oral and written communication skills
Additional Information (major pluses):
• .net Framework 3.5
• DoD/DHS project experience
Knowledge: BS required | |
