| | | | Job Description | | GIS Planner (Entry-Level Position) Candidate filling this position has primary responsibility for importing and exporting data from various file types, creating and updating geodatabases, working with shapefiles, and using Microsoft Access to edit, manipulate and query geodatabases in ArcGIS 9.2. The position also involves providing other professional staff with research and mapping assistance on a variety of planning projects and maintaining and updating information on websites. | | | | | Job Requirements | Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, urban planning or a related field and one year of professional experience. The salary is commensurate with experience and training.
