| | | | Job Description | Production/Project Manager primary responsibilities: 1. Maintain and manage the GIS and proprietary databases. 2. Maintain and use all of the CyberCity software relative to in-house production. 3. Support the development of applications by providing relevant feedback to Sr. software engineer for updates and improvements. 4. Provide documentation for processes and operational procedures in an effective manner. 5. Delegate production tasks as necessary.
The Secondary responsibilities as a Project Manager include: 1.Establish project objectives, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications. 2. Monitor and control projects through an administrative direction with the production to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget. 3. Formulate reports that concern to areas as work progress, costs and scheduling to meet stated customer initiated deadlines. 4. Juggle multiple projects; ability to multitask, set priorities, and manage workload. 5. Provides the client with both regularly scheduled and special Project Status Reports. Will also personally attend project status meetings on an as required basis.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in GIS, Geography, Planning , or other relevant major and must have 3-5 years GIS experience, at least 1 year of experience of management.
In addition, the ideal candidate will have proven required software experience in ESRI GIS core products (ArcMap, ArcCatalog, ArcToolbox), Aerial photography and other raster expertise (manipulation, acquisition, use), Proficient knowledge of MS Project and Visio. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desirable software experience includes experience in photogrammetric software.
