• New Guinea digitization: Parcel level mapping using existing paper maps and digital ortho photos. Interpretation of ortho photos was required to match old maps with recently acquired aerial photographs. Lines of occupation such as fences, walls, hedges, etc., were used to identify parcel boundaries.
• MacQuarie Marshes: The objective is to produce orthophoto maps in ECW format to be used in Mapinfo software for environmental impact assessment for a new industry planned.
• Narran: The objective is to produce ortho photos to study the nest pattern of a special species of migratory birds in 6cm GSD for an ornithology project.
• Environmental Agency: This project for the coastline of Southern Australia included the AT, DTM, Contouring, Feature collection, OrthoPhoto Mosaic and Profiling. The objective of the project is to implement a standard, repeatable and cost effective method of monitoring of the coastal environment. And promote, inform and integrate the operational monitoring requirements of a regional overview; shoreline management plans; coastal strategies and individual schemes. Flood Mapping and risk analysis through the GIS data set.
• Maitland Flooding: The process involves , orthophoto production, and editing of topographical data obtained from photogrammetric processes, structuring of contour and slope lines, data attributisation, placement of height points and editing of all other topographical data in order to produce cartographical maps for flood mitigation purposes in NSW, Australia |
