| | | | Other Information | I am currently a Master's student in the West
European Studies Center at Indiana University. In
August, I will be returning to Ball State to enter their
Master's program in Geography/GIS. My past GIS
work has been in academic setting primarily involving
demographic data and especially working with data
from the US Census and the Dutch Central Bureau for
Statistics.
I am looking for an opportunity to apply and broaden
my abilities with GIS in a real-world setting.
Eventually I would like to work in municipal/regional
level government using GIS and maps to find
solutions to challenges and visualize data for the
general public. While an internship would provide an
opportunity to reach my career goals, I believe my
strong work ethic, desire to apply GIS in a practical
manner outside the academic setting, and general
passion for map creation and analysis would make me
an asset for any company. | | | Keywords: | ArcGIS Extensions, ArcGIS, ERDAS, Idrisi, MS Access, MySQL | |
