- Data layers include parcels, centerlines, building footprints, utilities, infrastructure, public amenities, resources, economic data, zoning, points of interest, conceptual datasets, etc.
- Exporting MXD¡¦s to PDF, JPEG, TIFF and other formats with consideration to file size limitations, adjusting resolution, dpi settings, compressions.
„X Data Development
- Data capture using GPS units (Trimble, Leica) and post-processing for QA/QC of accuracy often using aerial imagery. Field surveys for new datasets, conversions from various file formats (CSV, XLS, DBF), on-screen digitizing of aerial imagery and LiDAR elevation data. Conversions of CAD data into GIS.
- Creation, editing and updating of all data types (point, arc, polygon, etc.) and data formats (coverages, shapefiles, personal and file geodatabases).

- Geoprocessing in arctoolbox (buffer, append, merge, join, clip, erase, geocoding, conversions of data formats, creating TINs, terrains, DEMs, raster analysis such as hillshade, flow accumulations, etc.)
„X Graphic Design
- Cartographic layout (ie. scale bar, orientation, disclaimers, projections, key maps, inset maps, legends)
- Symbolic principles (ie. hierarchy of line weights, point sizes, background/foreground colors, transparencies, annotations, auto-labels)
- Use of photoshop and illustrator for final design into presentation format for briefings, meetings and workshops. Final output includes letter or tabloid size, large-format plots (ie. ArchD, ArchE) or digital formats (PDF, JPEG, TIFF, etc.)
