4. Mumbai GIS data with telephone directory link for ROLTA
Description: Digitized map of Mumbai with field survey and
telephone directory link for vehicle tracking and emergency response system.
5. India GIS for Network for VSNL
Description: capturing DGPS readings at periodic interval (250m) along the entire route markers as well as splice chambers with field survey on 9000 km stretch across India.
Geo-reference As-built drawings provided with DGPS readings captured.
India base map corrected with satellite imagery for entire country with Landsat 7 (14.25m resolution) using heads up digitization process.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
q Handling a particular problems regading police(permision letter ) ,laptop problem (Hardware & software) & DGPS problem.
q Conduct field surveys and serve as the primary data acquisition technician using a combination of DGPS, digital imagery, computer, and existing information to develop and maintain GIS capabilities in the City.
q Conduct mapping research, in the field and in the office, to resolve conflicting information and ensure the accuracy of the data.
q Operate computer workstation to create and update maps using GIS software as new data is received relative to new subdivisions, developments, capital improvement projects, zoning requirements, and other projects; prepare and present output such as graphs, statistics or reports.
q Compile, analyze and organize information using industry specific symbolism and terminology, and global data positioning and data manipulation procedures for geographic information systems.
q Read, interpret and use zoning maps, quarter-section maps, land use maps, single line maps, and aerial maps.
q Answer questions and provide general DGPS information to staff.
q Other duties as assigned.
