| Geospasial and Mapping Manger | Dubai World, Limitless | | 2007 - 2009 | Dubai | My Role Purpose was to Analyze, Transform and Convert spatially referenced data from different sources into common geographic information systems (GeoDatabank) with well-defined accuracy characteristics for integrating acquisition, modeling, analysis, and management of spatially referenced data.
Key Responsibilities were
Manage and perform the design, building, and maintenance of GeoDatabank, including Data conversion from different sources (GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, GPS, LIDAR, Aerial Mapping, and others). Supervise the development, implementation and administration of procedures and policies for GeoSpatial Mapping of the spatial assets.
Define the requirements and help in the design process to build up GeoSpatial automation procedure software application (either as add-on module/stand alone GIS software) for Data Conversion, Updating/ Checking routines, automatic Plot Location Certificate (PLC) generation, Quality Control operations, Decision Support System (DSS), Land Information System activities, and Web Mapping Services Development
Ensure the QA/QC delivery of projects-oriented services in GeoSpatial activities and Manage the building of 3D models, scenes and animations

Extensive knowledge with GIS software, AutoCAD and other drafting systems (strong software background)
Extensive knowledge of Geomatics Engineering technologies, Aerial Mapping, Digital Photogrammetry, Laser scanning, Geospatial Services and GIS web-development
Extensive knowledge of Data Conversion from different data sources to GIS
Knowledge of Surveying, Global Positioning System (GPS), and Remote sensing
Working knowledge of Enterprise GIS in real estate, satellite imagery manipulation utilizing the database history and versioning.
Experience with image processing, and cartographic design and production
Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modeling, verification, and methodology development
Experience in quality control and establishing mapping standards
