I have 2+ years experience in GIS industry and
I was the key mapper of flood zone
determination project in RMSI Pvt Ltd at
Noida/Dehradun.
I am an expert of flood zone determination
project in which we generate the electronic
flood certificates of the U.S. Properties to
insure the property with the help of various
online resources and the resources are
available at our end (provided by the client) and
worked as QC Person in the QC Team of
AT&T Project in RMSI and while working
effectively in organization I got promoted to
Noida for 6-8 months for the MFD(Manual

1. AT&T(Client) SWM(South-West Migration)
Project
Software Used : AutoCAD 2005 & 2006,
DMT & Optint as provided by the client
Project Background
QC of all migrated mega tile (cables, terminals
and all the opti-devices/features). It is basically
AT&T based telecom project in USA. In which
we need to migrate all the Devices e.g.:
Cables, terminals, Conduits, LCC etc. as per
their geo location with respect of their
Referencing index and deliver the data of all
migrated devices in a mega tile and was
managing telecom network of AT&T based in
USA with providing proper sourcing to a cable
from other cabled lying to Central Office Side
and updating all complements according to
their work prints and field reports.
2. CBC and PCI(Client) Manual Flood
Determination Project(MFD)
Software Used : AutoCAD, ArcView,
KosmoRM, TatukGIS
Project Background
Exactly It is the flood zone determination
project in which we need to determine the
latest flood zones of the U.S. Properties,
Parcels with the help of various GIS Websites,
hard copy resources, shape data (Provided by
the client) and FEMA (Federal Emergency
Management Agency), FEMA Shows the
latest flood maps/panels. I got promoted to
Noida Branch of the organization for training of
this project for six months as a member in 7
member’s core team in may’08 and we
executed the project at noida office more than
six months and learned a lot about various GIS
Technologies/Softwares while getting training
of the project.
3. Edge Matching(flood)
Software Used : AutoCAD 2005
Project Background
Exactly It is the project of matching edges of
separate flood zones and various community
lines in flood maps/panels. In this project we
were digitizing the flood plains and flood
boundaries, community boundaries and city
boundaries of every state of USA.
4. R-APDRP Project
Software Used : IntelliCAD, AutoCAD,
ArcGIS 9.3
Project Background
Exactly this project is the Electrical Project of
entire India in which we need to
create/generate shortest path to serve
electricity to the consumer and to minimize
the AT&C losses. This is very first time Indian
Government is taking the help of GIS in this
project. MoP(Ministry of Power) and
PFCL(Power Finance Corporation Limited) has
out sourced this project to several IT-
implementation organizations. RMSI is one of
them leading organizations and executing the
project in Rajasthan with HCL Infosystems
Ltd. In the first step we do the digitization of
the entire Landbase of every state and after
that we do the network and consumer survey
and Asset Mapping is a very important part of
this project. R-APDRP Stands as
Restructured Accelerated Power Development
and Reforms Program. In this project we need
to digitize all the features by the satellite
imagery and by the survey maps e.g: Roads,
Buildings, Water body and to create maximum
possible divisions between every two buildings
with the access from the road. After creating
digital land base data we digitize electrical
network as per the digitized land base.
5. TTSL & TATA(Clients) Land Base and
Land Use Project
Software Used : AutoCADMAP2000i,
AutoCAD2010, MapInfo Professional, ArcGIS
9.0
Project Background
Exactly It is a Land Base Project in which we
need to digitize all the features from the
satellite imagery and In this project we create
16 layers like - Road Centerline, Road Buffer,
Footpath, Water Body, Obstacles, Plots,
Building Footprints etc etc. After Digitization
we enter attribute for every feature we digitized
in the data. After creating data we analyses
the data and make it error free and after
finalization we forward it to our surveyor as
survey sheets and after survey we do change
in our created data as per the surveyed data.
